Before confirming a booking, it's important to review this policy thoroughly. Consent to these terms of refund is mandatory when you arrange a charter with CommonsResourceCenter.

Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Eligible for: Complete refund excluding processing charges

Processing Time: 5-7 working days

Processing Fee: €50 for card payments

Requirements: Request in a written form is necessary via email or contact number

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half of the entire charter fee

Processing Time: 7-10 business days

Processing Fee: €25 subtracted from reimbursement

Conditions: A legitimate reason is required; administrative costs are applicable

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Eligible for: Refunds are not possible

Exception: Cases of emergencies can be taken into account

Alternative: Credit for future charters may be given at the discretion of management

Conditions: Documentation is necessary for claims of emergencies

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Your safety remains our highest concern. If our certified captain determines unsafe weather conditions for chartering, we extend flexible alternatives:

  • Full Refund: Granted if rescheduling isn't feasible
  • Reschedule: Relocate your booking to an alternative available date at no extra charge
  • Charter Credit: Issue a credit valid for one year from the initial charter date

Weather Assessment Process

Our procedure for weather evaluation includes:

  • An examination of wind speed and direction
  • Assessment of wave height and sea state
  • Visibility and rain forecasts
  • Advisories and alerts from the Coast Guard
  • A professional captain's assessment for safety

Decision Timeline: Decisions regarding weather cancellations are made at least four hours prior to the planned departure.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Emergency Situations

We're sympathetic to unexpected medical events. The ensuing scenarios may be eligible for special consideration:

  • An unforeseen ailment or injury resulting in hospitalization
  • Passing of an immediate family member
  • Call to military duty or emergency requisition
  • Summons for jury duty or a court order
  • Natural disasters impacting travel plans

Document Submission

To facilitate emergency reimbursement requests, we will require:

  • A valid medical certificate or hospital records
  • Death certificate, if applicable
  • Official military injunction
  • Jury summons or court directive
  • Travel advisories or emergency proclamations

Processing: Requests for emergency refunds are attended to within a span of 3-5 working days once appropriate documentation is submitted.

Operational Cancellations

Technical Issues

Should the vessel assigned to you suffer from operative issues that we cannot rectify:

  • Replacement Vessel: We will endeavor to offer a suitable alternative
  • Complete Refund: In the absence of an adequate substitution
  • Partial Reimbursement: If the alternative provided holds a varied price
  • Compensation: Additional recompense may be contemplated for any inconvenience

Crew Nonavailability

In the rare case of crew unavailability:

  • Efforts will be made to arrange for an alternative crew
  • Entire reimbursement if charter cannot be commenced
  • Rescheduling without additional charges

Refund Processing

Refunding Mechanism

Reimbursements will be executed through the original mode of payment:

  • Credit Cards: 5-7 working days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: 3-5 working days

Card Transaction Charges

€50 charge for terminations more than 72 hours prior

Bank Transfer Fees

€25 charge for all bank transfer reimbursements

International Operations

Extra charges may apply to foreign transactions

Charter Credits

Conditions for Credit Offers

Credits for charters might be an alternative to refunds under specific conditions:

  • Late terminations (under 24 hours prior)
  • Weather-induced cancellations
  • Voluntary changes in schedule requests
  • Disruptions due to operational matters

Terms of Credit

  • Validity: Effective for one year from issuance
  • Transferability: Credits cannot be exchanged with other entities
  • Value: Corresponds to the full rate of the charter (exempt from processing charges)
  • Application: Valid on any charter that's available
  • Expiration: No extensions past the 12-month period

Partial Service Refunds

Service Disruptions

If your charter is interrupted or cut short due to issues under our control:

  • Reimbursement in proportion to the unused portion
  • Credit for a future charter of identical value
  • Gratuitous services or upgrades

Guest-Caused Interruptions

If a charter ends prematurely due to guest behavior or breaches of safety:

  • Non-refundable for the unutilized duration
  • Pending payments are obligatory
  • Potential additional costs

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a disagreement over a refund decision:

  • Submission for a reconsideration by our management
  • Provision of extra documentation or evidential support
  • Engagement with consumer rights entities
  • Exploration of legal action in accordance with current laws

Procedure for Refund Application

Your application should come with the following particulars:

  • Confirmation digits of your booking
  • Appointed date and time of the charter
  • Grounds for annulment
  • Supplementary proof (when necessary)
  • Chosen method for repayment

Step 3: Examination and Execution

Post-receipt acknowledgment will occur within a day. Further assessment against this policy will take 48 hours. If your plea is sanctioned, the refund will be processed as per the stipulated durations.

  • All demands for refunds must be formally documented
  • Repayments are issued in € irrespective of the initial transaction currency
  • Purchasing travel insurance is highly advised
  • Alterations to this guideline require a 30 day notification period
  • Refunds are subject to relevant taxes and legislation
